Need for New Concept for Digital Text Editing in Indian Languages
- Digital Text Editing are in English (Latin) script which has 26 letters and text editing facilities are based on this 26 letters.
- Indian languages are born from the sound from Lords Shivas Dammaru. Except Tamil all languages has 50+ letters.
- There should be a different method of solution for Digital Text Editing for 50+ letters of Indian Languages.
- SARADA is the new concept to give solution for the above problem.

Languages / Scripts in General
- We call English Script but the name of the script is Latin. This script used for 18 major languages and these languages and the Latin script is in use in 130 Countries i.e. nearly half of the population.
- We call Russian Script but the name of the script is Cyrillic. This script is in use in Russia, Baltic Nations and previous USSR Countries. This Script is in use for nearly 10 languages.
- Arabic Script mostly used in Islamic Countries (except Bangladesh where Bengali is the script) even though the language is different in India and Pakistan Urdu is using Arabic.
- Chinese type of letters are use in East Asian Part of Countries like China, Japan, Korea etc.,
- All the above scripts are used for various languages with various Countries using same letters. The sound for the same alphabet differs with different languages. In Chinese, Japanese and Korea having same letter but different sound and this phenomena is applicable for the other script also.
Some Countries having two alphabets but mostly many Countries having same script.
